  Went in to get paperwork for reimbursement for when I was locked out of my car and no AAA dealer could respond. Also wanted to get quotes for insurance on my pickup, my motorhome and my utv. The lady was very pleasant and friendly, she even filled out the form for me and gave it to me to sign. She had deducted $100 from my reimbursement which I pointed out. She told me that they had a limit for such reimbursements and I pointed out that I had been given an exemption and had given her the "Call Number" to verify my claim. She told me that there was nothing in my computer file to substantiate my claim. I refused to sign and left (without getting quotes). I had to follow up with the home office who assured me, after several phone calls, that the information was, indeed, in my file and they arranged to reimburse me directly. No matter how friendly they are, the incompetent staff managed to turn me off. I'll stick with Geico.

  Was told Nevada doesn't have independent auto insurance agents by an agent at this location. Took me just a few minutes with Google to find a rep through a local credit union who would compare several companies. Disappointing given that my Oregon agent was independent and would regularly price shop for me. Did not appreciate being told a half truth (AAA of Nevada is not independent and only sells their own insurance brand but such agents do exist in the state).
